As already announced, the DIAC Summer School “Democracy, Inclusion and Active Citizenschip” will take place in Antwerp (Belgium) from 6 until 17 July 2009.
This school is the last in the 3-years’ cycle and the theme is ‘Contesting Democracy’: how can a democracy defend itself without losing its democratic character?
The first week of the school will be in Antwerp, in the university buildings located in the city centre. In the second week the school will move to Alden Biesen, a conference venue/cultural centre of the Flemish Community (see www.alden-biesen.be)

Posters have been sent to you. You find the brochure, application form and poster also in attachment.
Please distribute the information as widely as possible in order to attract the most suitable candidates.
Deadline for students : 27 April 2009.
